Jordan Turner-Hall announced as Head Pathway Coach

It is with great pleasure that the Club can announce Jordan Turner-Hall as our Head Pathway Coach.

As we know, one of the big reasons for our Club’s continued success, has been many years, and continued hard work, of many  with  our  Mini  and Youth  players.  That  along with  our strong Club ethos of promoting our youth players into our senior sides, or in some cases to clubs of higher levels, saw the club reach the National Leagues for the first time in its history.

With that in mind the Club Executive has unanimously agreed that it is  important we  continue to build on these many years of great  work, that  has now  given  us  a long  term sustainable  model for senior rugby whether in the 1st XV,  Lions and Rhinos.  It is felt to be very important that as a club we continue to invest in this.

It was clear from the first conversation that we had with Jordan, that he had the same views regarding youth rugby and where clubs should be concentrating their efforts for long term sustainability, and his enthusiasm and understanding of the Club ethos continued to engage us.

Jordan was himself a one club man, having been at  Harlequins from the  age  of 15, making his  senior  debut  at age of  17, with over 150  Harlequins  appearances and  2 England  Caps.  He has recently been coaching at Hurstpierpoint College and he also continues to part of the senior coaching team at National 1 side Rosslyn Park.

Jordan will initially start working with our Under15’s·through to Under18’s, infus ing  the Westcliff way and ethos.  In addition there are also discussions underway regarding our younger age groups.

Please join us in welcoming Jordan and his family in to the Club.
