Our Teams

The minis journey at Westcliff RFC continues into the U6-U12's section, which is by far, the largest minis group playing in the county! Each of our mini age groups are supported by DBS checked volunteers, trained coaches and managers who support the children through the start of their rugby journey by building those fundamental skills that make up the basics. As the children progress through the age groups, new elements of the game are introduced, building the children's confidence, technical skills and general understanding of the game. The minis group play in a number of club arranged friendly games and tournaments throughout the season with some often choosing to progress and play in wider competitive competitions.

Dash Allum

Minis Chairman

Dash joined Westcliff RFU at U11's and played through the youth section to 1st XV. He is the current coach of the U14s and Mini Chairman. His proudest moments include playing for the all-conquering colts under the tenure of coach Bob Rainbow and captaining the 2nd XV during their 'invincible' season, where they won every league and cup match. He is dad to two boys currently playing in the U11's and U14's.
